The proposed collar would be based on established wildlife-management collar principles: secure, weather-resistant, appropriately sized and designed to minimise irritation and interference with normal behaviour.

Fitting the collar

Initial collar fitting would be undertaken by appropriately qualified professionals under veterinary supervision and in accordance with applicable wildlife, veterinary and environmental requirements.
